About Me

Adventure and connectedness with. nature inspire me as an artist. As a child, I would seek out the calm and reflection that I felt when I was outdoors. This peacefulness I felt present in nature I carried into adulthood.

I draw realistic nature subjects and combine them with highly textured mixed media paintings that include undated recycled objects such as vintage book pages, music sheets and lace. I love searching antique stores to find unique ephemera that I can breathe new life into through my artwork.

My art integrates different materials with each other to create a cohesive, exclusive piece of art. Though experimentation with artist supplies, I create one-of-a-kind works of art that cannot be duplicated or recreated due to the uniqueness of the materials used it its creation.

My work is loved by those who understand the healing power of nature on their mental and physical well-being and who also find a connection with the natural wold that they live in.
