SOLD! FeBIRDuary Day 16

I knew I was going to draw an eagle this morning but wasn't sure how I was going to do it. I started it first with Inktense pencils and then changed my mind and put them away. Then, I brought out my colored pencils, started the drawing and again stopped and put the supplies away. I ended up doing it in charcoal and pastel chalk. The drawing is on a piece of vintage sheet music from the 1949 Girl Scout songbook called "Sing together". I used clear gesso over the music sheet and it gave it enough "tooth" so it would hold the charcoal.

This is the 3rd eagle I have done on sheet music. I love incorporating any recycled materials in my artwork.

Thanks for looking!
